Hello Reader,

Sometimes when you sit with your creativity, a story begins without planning or expectation. I began this new painting I have to share with you today, "Lucky Star," with a painted quote that I found in my collage collection. It fell out of the box as I was looking for colored bits of paper, and it reads, "You may not always end up where you thought you were going, but you will always end up where you were meant to be." And it was funny because I really had no idea what I was going to paint. But, by the end of the process, I had created a companion piece to "I Love Our Little World." And I realized that these birds had a love story to tell, and that by being open, I could tap into that story. I can't wait to see where it leads and to share it with you!

I've also added an array of new prints as well as the Rainbow of Birds notecard collection to the shop.
